Afrobasket 2017: Nigeria Names D’Tigers Team for Tunisia Tourney

The Nigeria Basketball Federation has released the names of invited players for the male national basketball team (D’TIGERS) that will participate in the 2017 edition of AfroBasket ball competition taking place in Tunisia. The event is being co-hosted by Senega; and Tunisia.

The full list of the selectees are; Dike Azuoma– home-based, Yahaya Abdul– home-based, Diogu Ike– foreign-based, Deji Akindele— foreign-based, O’karo Akamune- home-based, Bryant Mbamalu — foreign-based, Ike Nwamu— foreign-based, Akin Akingbala-  — foreign-based, Ike Iroegbu — foreign-based, Anthony Odunsi- foreign-based, Kelechi Anuna- home-based, Daniel ochefu –   foreign-based, Usman Moussa – home-based, Victor Anthony — home-based as Mousa Adamu and Victor Anthony will go as contingent players.

Also on the contingent list for  Senegal/Tunisia,  are; Coach Alex Nwora (Head Coach), Coach Abdurrahman Mohammed, Coach Adewunmi Aderemii, Musa Adamu (Team Manager), Ogunkunle  Dayo (physiotherapy), Ogbindeninu Samuel(TeamDoctor), Victor Okoro (SA to President), Adamu Janlong (Technical support), Sulaiman Saleh ( Media Officer).

 The team will depart for Tunisia, from Murtala Mohammed international airport Lagos, on Wednesday morning by 6:20 via  Royal Air Maroc airline.
