Senate President Bukola Saraki has sacked 98 of his aides, according to TheCable, an aide to the All Progressives Congress stalwart said Saraki’s director of protocol, Arthur Ndiwe; and the head of administration, Folashade Adigun, were among those laid off.
But Yusuph Olaniyonu, special adviser on media to the senate president, said he was not aware of the mass sack.
‘’I am not aware of any sack. I am still at work,” he said.
The affected aides were said to have been issued sack letters through the office of the Chief of staff, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed.
It was gathered that with the mass sack, Saraki’s aides have been reduced from over 300 to a little above 200.
