Badoo: Lagos CP, Ikorodu Monarchs Meets To Address Issue

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr Fatai Owoseni meets Ikorodu Traditional rulers as he led senior the officers of the Lagos Police command to an emergency meeting with Ikorodu Monarchs to end the menace of the dreadful badoo group.

The meeting which had the Lagos Commissioner; CP Fatai Owoseni, the DC (CID); DCP Bolaji Salami,ACP Olatunji Disu, the Area Commander Ikorodu; ACP Garuba and other DPOs on sit with Obas and traditional representatives in Ikorodu and its surroundings to earn the support of residents in collaboration with the Lagos State Police Force to put a halt to the massacre of people and ill-fated jungle justice penalty melted at suspected badoo members by the residents.

The commissioner of Police stressed on the need to put the suspected badoo members under scrutiny rather than involving in mob actions which could defeat the aim of screening and interrogation that might give supportive information to the police.

The meeting also charged towards upholding a neighbour watch approach which could also help in the security alertness of residents in curbing the menace of ritual killing which has assailed ikorodu residents over the months.

The CP gave his word as an advice to the residents that they should endeavor to know their neigbours and be more security conscious, giving reference to badoo shrine exposed by the Lagos State police command.
