UCL: Bayern Munich takes on the Gunners at the Allianz-Arena

The UEFA Champions League, Bayern munich faces Arsenal in the round of 16 matches tonight at the allianz arena. Arsene Wenger insists his Arsenal side are in better shape than ever to end their Bayern Munich curse as  Bayern Munich have eliminated Arsenal in their three previous Champions League knockout encounters, all in the Last 16 (2004/05, 2012/13, 2013/14).

Wenger said at Tuesday’s pre-match press conference: “I feel we have experience. We play against a Bayern side who, every year, always have the same task, which is to win the Champions League.

Tonight game may be a challenging for the gunners side as Bayern Munich have won their last 15 home Champions League games (53 goals scored, 8 conceded), the longest winning run in the history of the competition. Real Madrid are the last team to beat them at the Allianz Arena, in April 2014 (0-4).

The other game for the night is between Real Madrid and Napoli, at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid.  In their only previous encounter, Real Madrid knocked out Napoli in the first round of the 1987/88 European Cup, winning 2-0 at home before a 1-1 draw in Italy.
