A 41-year-old Bridget Caplin, a teaching assistant was arrested following the accusations that she had been giving alcohol to teen boys and then having sex with them.
She was said to have had oral sex with her daughter’s friend in a church car park.
She would have been jailed for 21 years if convicted of all the charges. But one of the teenagers involved in the case dramatically dropped the most serious charge of criminal sexual conduct.
Caplin, however, was placed on probation after she admitted distributing obscene matter to children and using a computer to commit a crime at an earlier hearing.
She was told to stay away from school areas, have no contact with children under 17 except her own, undergo a psychiatric evaluation and be subject to drink and drug testing.
She was also made to register as a sex offender for 15 years.
Caplin was sacked from East Middle School, in Plymouth, Michigan, following her arrest on October 12.
