Nigerian actress and film producer, Tayo Shobola has disclosed that she is exhibiting 12 movies in December at the Oriental hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos.
She said this while interacting with PREMIER NEWS correspondent at Islander Magazine’s 5 year anniversary, last weekend. The light skinned actress said she would do the almost impossible by exhibiting 12 movies in December.
According to her “I am exhibiting 12 movies that my company has produced this year and it would be sometime in December, on the 30th of December, 2016 precisely at Oriental hotel. So, it’s one of the 5 things am doing this year.”
She further disclosed that she is now into philanthropic projects, as she is working on few projects to aid humanity, but did not specify the form the charitable project would take.
She said “I am not disclosing much about the philanthropist project until next year.”
When asked about what government needs to do for the film industry, she said, “For me government will keep funding while the funds will end up getting stuck within a caucus or clique, as the support won’t move around.”
“I think the government should support us not only financially but permissions to shoot in preferred locations like airports, government buildings, etc. I also feel government should create enabling environment where people can train to beef up their skills in order to improve the standard in the industry,” She said.
